Four Events and Four Ways to Show Your Support
Event #1: "A Homeless Day of Remembrance"

10:05 am: Invocation by Pastor Matt Doan of the Calvary Church, Santa Ana
10:10 am: National Anthem by Delmis Rubio of Santa Ana High School

10:25 am: Senator Josh Newman
10:40 am: Tim Houchen
10:50 am: Keynote Speaker Senator John Moorlach.
11:35 am: Musical Performance by Kelly Bowlin and the Orphans
12:15 pm: Silent march will be conducted by Housing is a Human Right OC
We encourage community groups, organizations, churches, etc. to coordinate distributions of food and other donations in conjunction with the Orange County Courtyard Shelter.
Event #2: "A Visit to the Riverbed Rock Memorial"

Santa Ana River Trail Homeless Encampment
2:00 pm: Join Housing is a Human Right OC on this visit to the homeless encampment located on the east bank of the Santa Ana River Trail. Homeless persons living in the encampment have constructed a makeshift memorial along the trail. Members of HHROC and others will visit the site and adorn the memorial with flowers, potted plants, signs, balloons, etc.
We ask that you please bring a decorative contribution with you.
We encourage community groups, organizations, churches, etc. to coordinate distributions of food and other donations in conjunction with this activity onsite.
Event #3: "The Longest Night"

Event #4: "The Longest Night Art Exhibit"
December 21, 2017 2-4 pm and 6-10 pm
January 6, 2017 6-10 pm
Melisa Finds Gallery
201 N. Main St. Santa Ana, CA
An art exhibit sponsored by Hope 4 Restoration and Cultivating Growth will feature artwork capturing homelessness by local artists and submissions from artists that are homeless. Admission is free.
The gallery will be open to the public immediately after Event #1 at the Civic Center from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and later from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
The exhibit will also be shown during the Santa Ana Artwalk on Jan. 6, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm
